Gary Visser

Gary is originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, but moved to South Africa as a young child. During his early teens, his family immigrated to America and has lived in Orlando for over 15 years. After graduating from Dr. Phillips high school, Gary attended Florida State University.

While in undergrad he competed on the varsity track and field team as FSU’s sole decathlete.  His senior year he was captain of the team and helped FSU win its first ACC track and field championship.  After graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology he attended the Florida State University College of Medicine.  In 2007 he officially became Dr. Visser and is currently a senior resident at the University of South Florida/Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Residency program in Clearwater, Florida.
